We are very excited to get you started with Crisp! Please review the following requirements prior to your hardware installation date to ensure you have the correct wiring for your setup.

Electrical and network requirements

By default most of your Crisp equipment will  use WiFi, unless discussed otherwise with your onboarding specialist. If any re-wiring is needed at your location, you will be responsible to hire an electrician to get the correct wires run.

Please ensure that you have the following number of connections and outlets for each piece of equipment you are installing.

Register Station:
P400 Payment Device - 1 power outlet, optional ethernet port

Receipt Printer -1 power outlet, optional ethernet port

Tablet (not provided by Crisp) - Recommended 1 power outlet

Kitchen:
Label Printer - 1 power outlet, optional ethernet port
KDS Screen -  1 power outlet, optional ethernet port

Network Equipment
Crisp Server - 1 power outlet

Crisp Router - 1 power outlet, and connected to one modem (provided by your Internet Service Provider)

Access Points

Access points need to be connected to your router via an ethernet cable. These "cable runs" will need to be done by you, or a qualified third party. Typically an electrician will be able to do this for you.

Access Point (Indoor):

1 Ethernet Cable run

--Must be run to a central location (typically fixed to the ceiling)

Access Point (Outdoor):

1 Ethernet Cable

--Must be run to a central location

--Location must provide best coverage for your outdoor order taking space

Is there a minimum internet speed requirement?

Crisp does not require an extremely fast internet connection to run. However, a high quality and reliable internet service provider will provide the best experience for you. A 50/mbps connection should be the lowest you consider, but we encourage you to shop for at least 200/mbps internet.
