How do I switch this setting on/off?

1. Once you're logged into the POS, tap the 3 lines in the top left corner of the screen then tap the Settings option.

2. On the Settings screen, tap Online Ordering under the Store Settings line and on the right side you will see the option Store is available for online orders. Tap the toggle button to enable/disable online ordering for your store.

If you do not see the Online Ordering tab in the settings screen, you do not have the permission to enable/disable this setting and will need to have either the Shift Lead, Manager or Owner to disable/enable this option.

What happens when I turn off Online Ordering?

After disabling online ordering, your store will be shown as CLOSED on your brand's mobile app and/or Online Order Website. Customers will still be able to place orders through these channels, with the earliest pickup time being when you open the next day.

These changes will go through a few minutes after you toggle this setting.

If online ordering is left disabled on the POS overnight, it will automatically turn back on the following morning.

Frequently Asked Questions

My store just lost internet, how will this affect our Online Ordering?

If your store has lost connectivity due to a router failure or internet outage, Crisp will disable your online ordering automatically to prevent your store from getting online orders that you will be unable to fulfill. Once your connection is restored, your online ordering will be enabled again.

I'm not at the store, but we need to disable Online Ordering. Do I have any options?

Outside of the POS, you're able to affect your online ordering from the dashboard on your Store overview page. Disabling online ordering this way won't just mark your store as closedbut will instead take your store off of your app and website.

If you turn off Online Ordering from the dashboard, please keep in mind that you will need to turn it back on from the dashboard as it does not automatically turn back on the same way as it does when disabling from the POS.

I'm closing my store early for Holidays and other Events, can I schedule that in advance?

Yes, you can! By setting up an Hours Exception on the dashboard, you can set your online ordering to be unavailable for either a set amount of hours or an entire day without needing to toggle the option on the POS or Dashboard. Here is a link to our article on this process, but please be aware that hours exceptions cannot be scheduled for the same day, it must be scheduled at least a day in advance.

If you didn't set up an hours exception in time, you can use the other options listed earlier in the article to deactivate online ordering.
