A Series is the graphic that can be displayed on your Menu Boards, Customer Facing Displays and Self Service Kiosks. These can be either a Page, multiple Pages or a Video played in a loop.

A Series can only be created with Corporate level permissions.

Creating a Series

SSK/CFD Series

To create a Series for your SSKs/CFDs:

1) Select the SSK/CFD tab from the top of the Displays screen then click the blue button that says New Series.

*You will be prompted to choose if this Series will be for your Customer Facing Display or for your Self Service Kiosk when you press this button.

2) Whichever option you select, a menu will come up on the right side of the screen where you can name the Series and choose if the series will be Pages or a Video.


Pages are your images, so:
One Page = Static Image
multiple Pages = Slideshow


To create a Series for your Menu Boards:

1) Select the Menu Boards tab from the top of the Displays screen then click the blue button that says New Series.

2) A menu will come up on the right side of the screen where you can name the Series, choose if the series will be Pages or a Video and if the Menu Board series will be Portrait or Landscape. 

Series Settings

The settings for a Series are universal regardless of what type you have made with the exception of a Video series. On the list of series under either the SSK/CFD or Menu Board tabs, click one and you will be brought into the Series settings screen.

In this screen there will be 3 different tabs that you can adjust for your series: Settings, Pages and Stores.

Settings

This tab is where you can change:

  • The Series Name
  • Page Duration
  • Page Transitions
  • Transition Speed

Pages (Adding/Editing Images)

The Pages tab is where you will add your images. The process to do this is simple:


1. After selecting the Pages tab, you'll see the side bar with 1 blank page that has a trash icon and a pencil icon. Click the Pencil icon to edit the Page.

2. Once the screen updates, there will be a image of a camera with another pencil icon underneath it. Click it and you will be prompted to upload your image. 

3. Once your image is uploaded and you are okay with it, click the Save Changes button at the bottom right of the screen. You'll be brought back to the previous screen with your new image displaying on the left.

4. If you would like to add another Page, you can click the Add Page button at the bottom right of the Pages tab.

5. Now that the image has been uploaded you can press the Preview button below the image to view the screen in a new tab to see it's quality.

Stores (Assigning Series to different stores)

After your series is complete, you will need to use the Stores tab to assign it to the correct store/stores. To assign the Series to your store:


1. Select the Stores tab on the right hand menu
2. Go through the list of stores and check the stores that will have this series assigned it.
3. Once you're satisfied with the stores you've chosen for this Series, click the Add Stores button at the bottom of the store list and those stores will now have them selected as an option for their displays on the store level. CFD/SSK series do not need to be selected as they are automatically applied to the screens once assigned to a store.



You can only have one CFD and one SSK series assigned to a store at a time. Trying to assign a new series of either type to a store will replace the previously assigned series automatically. This only applies to CFD/SSK series.

What Next?

Once the series has been assigned to a store, you can choose to go to the Store Level Displays tab and change the displays or inform your store owners that the new display has been sent out and instruct them to change it themselves. 


If store owners do not have the Edit Displays permission in their job role, they will be unable to change the displays themselves and will require Corporate assistance.
