In your mobile app (version 2.0+), customers can now scan receipts to claim loyalty points!
If a customer places an order in-store without applying loyalty, the receipt that prints for the order will include a unique QR code that the customer can scan later in the app.
If loyalty is applied to the order, the receipt will not print with a QR code.
To scan the QR code, the customer can go to the Loyalty tab at the bottom of the App screen there will be a button called Scan Receipt in the middle of the screen. Once they tap scan receipt, they can then scan the QR code and the loyalty points will be applied to the customer's loyalty account.
This is what receipt will look like when a QR code is printed.
QR codes will expire 7 days after the original purchase. After this, it is no longer possible to claim rewards on the order.
