Customers may have allergies that require special preparation for their orders.
To send an allergy alert to your kitchen:
- Add any item to the order.
- Tap the 'Comments' tab.
- Select a common allergy or select 'Other' allergy. You can type comments describing that allergy in more detail.
- Complete the order as usual.
The KDS will now display an alert. The ticket must be acknowledged by tapping the allergy alert before it will display the order.
Once the allergy is confirmed, the order will display as usual along with the allergy reminder.
