Creating a profile will

  1. Generate pin codes for employees to log in to the Crisp POS
  2. Send an email to employees prompting them to create a password and login to the Crisp Dashboard


If you're trying to change permissions make sure to check out the Creating Jobs/Permissions article. You'll need to be an admin to alter job permissions.





Required information for employee profile

  • First Name (required)
  • Last Name (required)
  • Email address (required)



Payroll

No information is required on this page. But the reference number will be used in payroll exports



Job


Required Information:

  • Job Title (selected from available jobs)
  • Stores (which stores will this user have access to)
  • Wage (this can be left at $0 if desired)
  • Wage factor (this will be used to calculate burdened labor)



Note that wage factors should be entered as a factor. So if you want a 10% factor enter it as 1.10 - for a 5.5% factor you would enter 1.055





Forgot/Change Password on the Dashboard

Forgot Password

  1. From the login page, enter your email in the "Email address" field.
  2. Click the "Forgot Password" button found next to the "Login" button
  3. An email should be sent to you within two minutes. If it does not arrive, verify you entered the email address correctly, or check your spam folder.
  4. The email will contain a "Reset Password" button. When clicked, you will be taken to your web browser to set and verify a new password. This new password will be available for use immediately!



Change Your Password

  1. Login to your account
  2. From the home page, click My Account
  3. Find the Your Info section and click Edit on the right side.
  4. In the Password field, enter the NEW password you would like to use.
  5. Click Save in the bottom right. Your new password will be available for use immediately!



Reset an Employees Password

Employees may also reset their own passwords using the method at the top of this page. The steps below may be used to force an employee to change their password upon their next login.

  1. From the home page, click “Team” -> "Users"
  2. Find and click on the user you wish to modify the password for.
  3. In the bottom right of the sub-window, click "Options" then "Reset Password"
  4. You will be prompted "Are you sure you want to reset this user's password?" Click "Yes".
  5. An should be sent to the user within two minutes. If it does not arrive, verify the user's email address, and have them check their spam folder.
  6. The email will contain a "Reset Password" button. When clicked, they will be taken to their web browser to set and verify a new password. This new password will be available for use immediately!
