This screen is specific to the staff working between the kitchen and the customers. Most likely for staff who may be organizing orders.
To access to the Expo Screen:
- Swipe right from the left side of the screen or click the top left menu
- Scroll down the menu to find “Kitchen” then select the Expo screen
Expo Screen Basics:
- The Expo screen limits the ability to change orders. Whereas, the KDS screen has more ability to change orders.
- As kitchen staff are clearing KDS screen orders, the Expo screen order items will turn green alerting staff that those items are ready to be organized.
- Once orders are delivered to customer, tap ‘Complete’ on Expo screen.
- If an order was accidentally marked ‘Complete’, you can access all old orders by selecting ‘Recall.’ Find the order you are searching for and select ‘Recall’ on the bottom of that order. It will automatically reappear on the Expo screen.
